St. Patrick Catholic Church | Art Museum of South Texas Corpus Christi
A couple of weekends ago, I had the honor of photographing Lorin and Hauke’s unique wedding in Corpus Christi. Their story is a blend of cultures—Hauke, hailing from Germany, first met Lorin on National Hug Day. It was a delight to witness the fusion of their two families, starting with a beautiful ceremony at St. Patrick Catholic Church and culminating in a lively reception at the Art Museum of South Texas.
The day unfolded effortlessly, thanks to an excellent team of vendors and JoAnne’s thoughtful coordination from Oh Goodie Designs. We started the morning at a cozy B&B where Lorin and Hauke were getting ready, then made our way to the church before heading over to the museum to continue the celebration. It was such a joy to document every emotional moment of their day—the quiet anticipation, the heartfelt vows, and the laughter that carried late into the evening.
I’m very thankful to Lorin and Hauke for entrusting me with the task of capturing their special day. I also want to extend my appreciation to my second shooter, Adam Swift, for his talent and support throughout the day.
