Street + urban photography

I love black-and-white street photography and always choose the Leica Rangefinder as my camera. These days, I use the M10 Monochrom and M6 film camera, along with a 28mm Summilux and a 50mm Summicron f2 lens. I aim to capture the form and content of the city, including the geometry, shadows, lines, and of course, the people of San Antonio. Shooting in a town filled with tourists can be challenging, but I focus on the locals who shop, work, and go about their daily lives. For me, the reward of street photography is the freedom to shoot and gain confidence. I find inspiration in the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson and his poetic framing and composition, which emphasizes geometry and dynamic symmetry. His work has influenced many generations of photographers. As a documentary photographer based in San Antonio, Texas, I specialize in wedding and street photography. Thanks for reading!
