STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

I’m a photographer based in San Antonio, Texas, and black-and-white street photography remains central to my practice. I’m drawn to subtle, overlooked moments of daily life—ephemeral gestures, stillness, expressions, and the interplay of light, shadow, and movement in the city.
My work relies on geometry, layered framing, and the tension between order and spontaneity. I prefer to shoot unobtrusively, allowing moments to unfold naturally instead of intervening or directing. In a bustling, tourist-dense city that demands patience—walking, observing, and revisiting familiar streets until something authentic emerges.
This approach stems from a documentary mindset and from photographers who prioritised timing, restraint, and clarity above spectacle. The images here reveal a continuous practice of attentive observation—being present, maintaining patience, and responding as a moment quietly crystallises.
