Awarded Image Contest – ISPWP Fall/Autumn 2012 – The Hand

I was awarded 4th place in the fall/autumn ISPWP 2012 contest – International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers. Lucky me and most humbled..

This photo was captured at the San Jose Missions and Ashton and Creighton’s big day. I loved the context and humor in the shot and was taken just before the bride and father walked in through the doors. The hand is Ashton’s brother as he gave the nod and hand gesture for her to go ahead and starting walking down the aisle with her father.  The  first of two clicks, the second with the subjects head looking out.
