Primarily I anticipate the moment; forget couples jumping in the air with balloons.
Those type of images are clichés and out of date trends.
I’m a documentary photographer telling your story with heart and soul and I attempt to tell that in my wedding portfolio.
Photographing ‘life’ I use careful composition in the frame, geometry, form, light, and content is integral to how I think and perceive the world through my camera lens.
I hope you enjoy perusing through my wedding portfolio gallery. As you’ll see, I’ve intentionally shown only moments that are authentic and not set up by me as a wedding photographer. Many photographers who shoot weddings do indeed hang the dress, or set the shoes, or make sure all the bridesmaid’s dresses are hung up and photographed. I’ll only capture the decor and details I see as I document a wedding day. Apart from the posed group shots, and a few of you and your loved one together, it’s important to me and my typical clients that I document your wedding day in a hands-off approach, telling the true story and as unobtrusive as possible. There are many styles of photography out there. Style to me is the combination of mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. How I tell your story is exactly how I’m like as a person. I’m not loud in your face person. I’m humble in nature and thank the Lord every day I get to do what I love, with passion and determined drive. My wedding portfolio is pretty extensive, feel free to browse around, check out my updated journal/blog, Instagram and images here on the WPJA site, fortunate to be listed a Top 100 photographer in the world, twice in the last five years.
