Clarissa and Eric tied the knot in Mission south Texas, at the family owned event center, Villa del Palmar in Mission, and the wedding reception at Palazzio Event Center. I loved working with these two over the last few months, and we hit it off right away.

Clarissa and Eric have an epic story! They first met around eight years ago but went their separate ways. Starting in 2015 when both their friends were getting married they began to get to know each other better and in early 2016 were dating. They traveled over 600 miles to date each other, going between Clarissa’s home in Marble Falls to Eric’s house in Mission, south Texas. Amazing!

These are my favorite images from the wedding day including a few photos from Clarissa’s bridal shoot. We start with the rehearsal party the night prior. Here’s a link to their engagement session captured in downtown San Antonio.

Finally, thank you to Adam Swift, my old friend, and pro photographer for second shooting. Please leave your love for the couple in the comments below and share the link with friends and family.

Hey! I'm Philip Thomas

All-Inclusive Wedding Day Storytelling

If you like what you see, reach out! I have a cool English accent; I’m dashing, handsome and funny – so my wife says. Seriously though, I love the craft of photography, I’m a former news photographer and a documentary street photographer. I capture weddings throughout Texas from a fly on the wall perspective. You’ll not notice me. My photos are candid and delightfully artistic with a splash of color and monochrome.
