I offer a range of options for photographers, from small hands-on workshops to one-to-one mentoring and online portfolio reviews. The focus is documentary wedding photography: observation, timing, composition, geometry, workflow, and learning how to photograph real moments with clarity and restraint.
With more than 30 years of professional photography experience and 15 years as a wedding photojournalist, I share a practical, honest approach to working at weddings — from seeing better to building trust with clients and developing a sustainable business.
My half-day workshop, Capturing Peak Moments with Geometry, explores how composition, form, balance, and visual structure can strengthen wedding photographs. We’ll look at how ideas from newspaper photography, street photography, and classic works of art can be applied to real wedding situations.
One-to-one mentoring is available for photographers who are starting a wedding photography business or refining an existing one. Sessions can cover portfolio editing, client experience, pricing, workflow, documentary technique, and how to attract the right clients.
Whether you’re looking for inspiration, honest feedback, or practical guidance as you build your wedding photography career, these workshops and mentoring sessions are designed to help you see more clearly, work with more confidence, and photograph with greater intention.
