Sunday and Bruce’s Wedding – Ellington Airport, Houston

Sunday and Bruce’s wedding was simply amazing. I got the call a week prior to the wedding and 6 days later found myself at Ellington Airport, southwest Houston. The wedding was based on a medieval and renaissance theme- think Brave Heart and included actors during the reception. Even Cat Woman, Batman and Captain Kirk from Star Trek was there! Congrats to Sunday and Bruce on tying the knot. There’s allot of amazing energy between these two.

Ellington Field or Ellington Airport as it’s now renamed was one of the first and still used World War I Army Air Service Installations used by NASA (see airplane below), the military and general aviation aircraft. The field also hosts the Wings Over Houston Air Show.

Many thanks to a wonderful friend, Fabian Espinosa from Monterrey, Mexico who joined along for the ride. Wedding planner was Sierra Slaughter.

Thank you for the trust guys. Enjoy the images below, all shot with a Leica M9, A Nikon D3 and D4.
