On the last fall weekend, a gorgeous wedding took place for Sarah and Jake at Red Berry Estates in San Antonio, Texas. Sarah and Jake met in a downtown San Antonio Pub Rub back in November 2016. Fast forward to the present, and like many couples, Covid put a temporary dent in their wedding plans but finally, the date was set for December 18, 2021.
The historic Red Berry Estate is located on San Antonio's east side and is an iconic piece of Texas history. It's a gorgeous location for a wedding and the only lakeside venue in San Antonio. This day was an exceptional wedding to me, and chosen vendors as Sarah's mother is none other than top wedding planner Diana Boucher. So, you can imagine how humbled I was when asked to photograph Jake and Sarah's wedding. The day started with a few showers, but the sun came out within an hour of the ceremony! A cocktail party followed with a round of casino fun, and celebrations continued into the night with the Austin based, Love and Happiness band.
I loved photographing Sarah and Jake's special day and seeing many familiar faces. Thanks to Adam Swift, the second shooter, and the fab Stacy Seabourn on hand to make the wedding day run super smooth. Below is a curated set of my fave images.
