SINCE I MET BIANCA (AND CESAR MUCH LATER), I’ve been looking forward to their wedding. As I’ve written on numerous occasions, for me, people are what make a wedding. Of course, it’s nice to have amazing locations to shoot in, but what I love to photograph and focus on is the interactions between family and friends, observe and then photograph it. This was no exception, in fact, I loved it. I really couldn’t think of aything else I’d rather do for a living! Bianca and Cesar who live in McAllen, married at the Incarnate Ward and reception was downtown at The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio.
Below are a few of my favorites, shot with a Leica M9, a 35 mm f1.4 Summilux and the reception strobe shots with a Nikon D3. One significant favorite of mine is the finger silhouette on the glass door. I really don’t know who that was but the photo was captured just after all the group photos were completed and folks waited for their pickup to the reception.
