WEDDING: LEYVI + JAMES

James and Leyvi married last Saturday (March 5) and are one of the loveliest couples you could meet. They have a wonderful love story and I was fortuenate they chose me as their photographer. For me, what makes a wedding special are close family and friends. Of course, location goes along way, but the closeness of family was very evident throughout the night.

Throughout the late winter and early spring, the light is a challenge but just marvelous to work in. The available light in hotels with large windows like Hotel Valencia makes it a joy to shoot in. Their ceremony and reception took place half an hour before sunset at The McNay,  the first time I’ve shot a wedding there.
