WEDDING: CHRISTINA + PAUL

LOVELY WEDDING IN AUSTIN a couple of Friday’s ago and congratulations to Christina and Paul who are I think STILL on honeymoon in Bora Bora.  I did offer to carry their luggage on and off the plane but for some reason they just laughed. Well, anyway, a splendid wedding downtown at St. Austin Catholic Church and the reception was at Four Seasons Hotel along the river. The evening prior I covered the rehearsal diner at the excellent Food de Chao.   The wedding was a referral from Jennifer and Daniel Gebhard whom I photographed their wedding a few years ago. So kind and thank you.

For Christina and Paul this was a destination wedding, as home is in Chicago but many friends an family live here so it just made sense to have the wedding in Austin. The folks at the wedding were just terrific and I felt quite at home with many of these lovely folks.

A few of my favorites are below and shot with a Leica M9 and a 35mm f1.4 Summilux mixed in with my Nikon D3 for the strobe shots.
