Claire and Chance – Purple Sage Ranch

Claire and Chance married at the gorgous Purple Sage Ranch. Both are an amazing couple. Congrats!

Ah, September! This is my best loved month. Not because I’m turing forty. Well, maybe. But, for an Englishman, the heat is hard!  I’m always humbled and amazed to shoot weddings for a living. Why? Well, every wedding is unique. The test is to find the light, work the angles and find the story. And then, just maybe capture that moment, that split second of magic. All the while, be quiet and just blend in.  I loved Chance and Claire’s day. There were many special moments on this hot and humid eve.  I love to create and weave the story from start to the end.

I believe the wedding ceremony location was the first attempt under the trees. I’m sure I will be corrected if I’m wrong. I even climbed a crane to get that serene light that you can see. Only hooking myself once on the cranes rig!

Along for the ride was awesome second shooter, Chris Margain. Also, great to see Charlene, wedding planner and owner of Parties by Design. For you photo nerds, I shot with a Nikon D3, D4 and Leica M9:-)
