Rachel and Josh’s special wedding last Friday, September 6th at Lost Missions was an opportunity for me and thirty other vendors to give back and say thank you to our local community.

When Badges and Bouquets, a local group headed by Tina Humphrey of Diamonds and Dreams held a contest last spring, Josh a local firefighter and Rachel, a teachers aide found out they won because of the love letter he wrote. Their special love story was featured on a local TV station. My story was partly personal. We had a lightning strike on our house last year and even though we had extensive damage, the house was repairable thanks to the quick response from fireman on the scene. Last Friday, we were able to give this couple the dream wedding they had always wanted.
