Karla and Jarrett’s Wedding – San Antonio, Texas

This was the day of the San Antonio record rains. And rain it did. My wife was kind enough to drop off at the Contessa Hotel downtown. Having not checked the news, we were glad we left early when we did as the main 281 road going downtown was flooded at Olmos Basin. The  cool upside about the day was the angular light, or lack of it especially around lunch time. Instead of a cheery humid May day, it was a dark brooding morning which opened up to a brighter evening.

Karla amd Jarrett were coming to the end of a one month vacation and getting ready to return back to the military in Germany. Technically, this renewal of vows ceremony was one year to the date after getting married. Karla’s father was wonderful and an amazing gentleman to meet and I included many of his photos here.

Karla and Jarrett’s wedding was at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church and reception at Witte Museum. Videographer was Tomas from Infiniti Weddings and wedding planner was the amazing calm Audrey of Timeless Beginnings.
