The Springs Wedding, Boerne | Edna + Chris

I had the pleasure of photographing Edna and Chris’s wedding ceremony, held at the new venue The Springs. Just opened in 2016, The Springs is a wonderful choice for those looking for a Texas country feel and experience. This was my first time shooting at this location, but I’m sure it won’t be my last. It was a beautiful ceremony with just the right amount of rustic and elegant touches to create the perfect backdrop for a Texas Hill Country wedding.

I enjoyed photographing this wedding, not only for the rustic charm, but also the opportunity to work with this amazing couple, their friends and family. It’s so true Texas really does have the friendliest people. The images here are a small selection of my favorites. When I curate images, I’m looking for what tells the couple’s story. Good composition, emotion, geometry, form and content are at the top of my list. Well, there’s no shortage of emotion here.
